Rolling hills, speckled with laurel and rhododendron, serve as the backdrop to our 80 acres of lush blueberry bushes, grape vines, and fields of fir trees. Chimney Pond Farms is simply the canvas for your own wedding vision. Our venue, which offers hilltop views of Lake Glenville, is able to comfortably accommodate over 250 guests. The temperate weather will keep guests comfortable in the summer months, or you may choose to hold your ceremony in one of our two available indoor halls when the weather has cooled.

Outdoor Ceremonies

Imagine yourself, silhouetted against a sky of deep orange—the sun melting into the Appalachian Mountains, as you say those enchanted words. “I do.” This is the moment both you and your guests will experience if you choose to hold your ceremony in our outdoor space. An archway of braided branches, flanked by tall hedges serves as a whimsical procession entrance. Your vows and rings will be exchanged with the scenic backdrop of mountains and Lake Glenville.

Indoor Ceremonies

If you prefer an indoor ceremony, or if inclement weather prevents you from holding it outdoors, Chimney Pond Farm offers two indoor options. The Gathering Hall is a retired barn which has been turned into a quaint ceremony space, complete with twinkle lights and branch arches. The reception space can also be used for ceremonies if you have a larger guest list.

Venue Pricing

Our wedding packages include everything you need to make your wedding day your dream wedding with the exception of catering, music, photography, and floral. We have customizable packages starting at $12,500 that include a variety of decor, seating, tables, as well as ceremony and reception sites. In addition, it includes Month of Planner and Day of Coordination Team.

Planning Services
  • Mini planning meeting 10 weeks prior to wedding to help with floor plan, timeline, vendor review, and day of summary of events

  • Day of set-up (meet vendors, keep timeline, ensure all members of the wedding party and immediate family are in place, coordinate the ceremony procession, assist photographers post ceremony, and so much more)
  • Day of clean up (packing up of all your personal items, loading exit vehicle for the couple, and much more)

    Since so many of our couples are planning a destination wedding, we have incorporated several standard decoration pieces to make it easier for you. If you are looking for something specific, always ask us first if we have it because it is possible we do since our inventory is always growing!

    IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE

    The Reception

    Our reception space features a large deck with a bar and counter space for cocktails and appetizers. The space also has a patio, surrounded by lush greenery and flowers, that serves as a dance floor during the warmer months. When the weather cools, there is space for a dance floor indoors as well. Our reception area is able to be decorated to fit the exact taste of the bride and groom. Ultimately, our goal at Chimney Pond Farm is to provide the setting for your dream wedding. If there is a location on the property where you would specifically like your ceremony or reception to be held, we are happy to work with you to create a unique wedding experience, perfectly suited to your tastes.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Outside Vendors
    We welcome outside vendors, planners and caterers or you may select from our preferred event partners. Mother Nature provides the magnificent scenery – we provide the setting, planning and hosting to make your event memorable.
    Elopements
    We offer elopement packages for couples desiring an intimate wedding with up to 30 guests. Your beautiful ceremony takes place on top of our hill that overlooks Lake Glenville and the Blue Ridge Mountains.

    We now proudly offer a variety of bar packages that can be easily customized to your liking.
    Wheelchair Accessibility
    We are a fully active and operating Christmas Tree Farm with varying terrain and rustic landscaping. Please note, not all areas of the farm are wheelchair-accessible. The Farmstead provides agritourism or agritainment opportunities for guests. There are inherent risks when participating in any outdoor or semi-outdoor activity. All guests assume liability and the risks of personal injury when enjoying our farm and event venues.
